TLR-Win
… the new program for reading the TCU on the 914
I know many frustrated users who don’t read out their TCU during maintenance because it’s too much trouble to get the 16-bit DOS program TLR4.6 running in the DOS box…
…or to install the B.U.D.S. Aircraft program.
I have now ported TLR4.6 to Windows.
My requirements were as follows:
- Limited to useful program features
- No installation required—runs directly from a USB drive
- Easy data viewing
- Easy printing and saving of data
- Easy viewing of parameters when generating log files
- Log files are saved in CSV format
I managed to achieve this quite well with CLOUDE by Anthropic.
The program is written in GO and requires no installation—so it actually runs from a USB drive.
… Just unzip it, save TLR-Win.exe to a folder or a USB drive, and run it.
When you first start the program, a message will appear that you must confirm by clicking “More Information” and then “Run Anyway” in the next window.
Have fun with it, and be sure to read through the Manual—especially the copyright and liability sections at the end…
The Required USB Adapter
Available on AMAZON in Germany:

I’ve tested this adapter on several aircraft so far—it works and currently costs only €10.99
